RaQs Academy with Kasia Wronka

Description

Intensive Raqs Sharqi (bellydance) course – lectures, technique, choreographies, online / live show, coaching.
For the first time Raqs Academy – intensive belly dance training with Kasia Wronka, who will share with you her wide knowledge and experience gained during the last 15 years as a dancer and teacher. Course will cover lectures, studying main Raqs Sharqi styles (technique and choreo) and at the end of the course there will be a short exam. All participants will receive Raqs Academy Certificate. Also, we will record ONLINE SHOW with group and solo performances after the course (group choreo recording for the local dancers in May 2022 TBC, solo recordings till end of June 2022). Additionally, there will be an opportunity to take part in From Rio to Cairo spectacle (end of June 2022 TBC). All participants will be provided with individual coaching with Kasia (class / consultation / written feedback).

After last Raqs Academy meeting we will record the ONLINE gala, with group and solo performances (for the ONLINE show recording in May – live performance in June 2022 as part of FROM RIO TO CAIRO show, all dates to be confirmed).
❤ Raqs Academy – main goals? Widening / structuring your knowledge, pushing your technique to a higher level, development of your own dance style, gaining experience while recordings and stage performance
❤ Raqs Academy – for who? Course is mainly dedicated to intermediate and advanced but also professional dancers – dancers at any level should profit from the course and learn new skills / knowledge.
❤ Course available LIVE and ONLINE – limited spaces for the live classes (around 15 spots). While registering please choose how would you like to participate in the course – Real / ONLINE (ONLINE – as live stream, recording from the trainings will be available for all participants)

Costumes for the recording / show:
- Tarab song – we will try to adjust costumes you already have – possible dark classical belly dance costume
- Mejance – we will try to adjust – possible red / pink classical costume, possible investment – 1 veil (all veils need to be in the same colour for the group)
- Golden Era and Tabla Solo performance – for volunteers we will be creating / buying costumes
You can participate in all recordings or only chosen choreographies
